This year's hunting stamp design team went with the theme of "Simply True" by featuring the now-famous 18-inch sasquatch footprint.
Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic situation, the season start date has been pushed back.
Fortunately, we have been granted an extra month on the back-end just like last year.

Designed by a long-time hunter in Montana, the 2019 hunting stamp pays tribute to the original bigfoot hunters that never gave up, even when no one believed in them.
This year's season has been extended an additional 4 weeks in August! This was one week longer than we had been lobbying for, and will provide more opportunity to bag a record sasquatch after putting on some winter weight gnoshing on huckleberries and trout.

Hunters will be happy to hear that even thought the season is longer, the national lottery fees were not raised this year and applications are being accepted right now!

2019 Sasquatch Sightings
Wonderful news is coming about the 2019 sasquatch season! We can't reveal it yet until clearance comes from the national office, but it will make your day - guaranteed!
We have been authorized to share this general statement now, but please check back around the end of March for all the details...

With new leadership and direction at the federal level, hunting of sasquatch and other non-undeniable wildlife has again been recognized as a potentially lucrative funding method for state departments of natural resources.
In support of this new visionary acceptance of previously unaccredited animal types, and following the lead of Mr. Zinke, we expect the acting Secretary of Interior, Mr. Bernhardt, to sign into law an extended season for sasquatch in 2019.
This extended season is intended to provide hunters with more opportunity to lay claim to a record kill and hopefully take a video without the popular
grainy filter obscuring details.

Many wildlife programs are put on hold without funding based on sasquatch hunting revenue.
Millions of dollars were being counted on for habitat restoration and other environmental projects, but those dollars won't be available this year.
2012 Season Suspended
February 7, 2012
For the past 9 months, our web server has been under constant denial of service attacks by the Sasquatch Free League and other anti-hunting organizations with deep pockets. We've finally hardened our website enough to foil their continuing attempts, but response may continue to be sporadic in the months to come.
These groups were also, through dubious back-room dealings, successful in placing a legal barricade against the 2012 Sasquatch hunting season. This was a tremendous blow to the American Sasquatch Society, but we've weathered the storm. Thanks to many volunteers that value the freedom to hunt, that legal barricade has been overturned and there WILL BE a 2013 Sasquatch season across the country!

We will soon have the 2013 hunting stamp and lottery applicatons ready, so please be a bit patient and check back in May.
